Heavy Duty Degreaser C has been engineered as an affordable, powerful and nonflammable precision cleaner. It has been optimized for the removal of organic contamination such as oil and grease.
Suitable on all types of metals, substrates and rugged plastics, Heavy Duty Degreaser C is an excellent choice for semiconductors, disk drives, gyroscopes, medical devices and any other application in which product reliability and performance are crucial parameters. The product easily removes most oils, light grease, lubricants and coatings based on urethanes and silicones. The cleaner is generally not recommended for fluxes, inks and paints.
Noncorrosive and ultra-pure, Heavy Duty Degreaser C dries almost instantly. It never requires rinsing. Compared to many competing products, it has excellent health and safety ratings. For example, the product exhibits azeotropic behavior and is suitable for use in heated cleaning systems such as vapor degreasers. Importantly, this means it is safer than other choices because it remains completely nonflammable in any packaging configuration. (Some solvents, but not Micro Care's, must be reformulated to remain nonflammable when sold in unpressurized packaging, such as gallons and pails.)
The product is completely ozone-safe, has a low global warming impact and a reduced VOC content.
