For an inexpensive cordless soldering iron, this model is a quite capable performer.  It works admirably on fairly heavy gauge wire connections and terminal strips, and heats quickly to working temperature.  The plastic housing may be a bit on the fragile side, but we shall see how it lasts.  Keep one charged and ready to go at all times, a lifesaver for occasional field repairs where AC power is not available.
