The FX-801 is the ideal soldering station for extremely large mass components such as, high current inductor coils, heat sinks, large transformers, shields and other difficult to solder applications where there is a significant amount of thermal inertia that must be overcome.

The station uses T33 Series Tips, which feature 260W composite ceramic heating elements. These heating elements have a top controlled temperature of 940F (500C) and high mass shapes, enabling you to solder some of the most challenging solder joints at only 750F (400C) and without preheating!

FX-801 other features include:

- Up to 6 user programmable preset temperatures

- Process control lockout with password protection

- Lightweight (50g) heavy duty 300W soldering iron

- Sleep/Power-off function - station automatically enters sleep/power-off function when handpiece is placed in iron holder

- Large LED display

- Integrated handles on station make it easy to move or carry
