These 2-part epoxy conductive paints are designed for extreme durability and mar resistance. They are scratch resistant and adhere very strongly to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, glass, ceramics, concrete, and most plastics. They provide very strong solvent resistance, and the nickel and silver versions offer excellent corrosion resistance as well.
These epoxy paints are commonly used to protect electronics from electromagnetic radiation in harsh environments. When used correctly, the nickel and silver versions are excellent for preventing galvanic corrosion. They are also excellent for electroplating plastics with aggressive plating baths that would dissolve less chemically resistant coatings. The silver version is also suitable for use in board and package level applications because of its strong EMI shielding and its extreme durability, which allows it to survive wave soldering.
For applications where extreme durability is not required, we offer easier-to-use 1-part alternatives: water-based for use on wood and drywall, and acrylic-based for use on plastics. We also offer electrically conductive epoxy adhesives.
