The 8800 series plastic tool case is rotationally molded. Rotational molded plastic tool cases are more rugged than vacuum formed cases, particularly in the corners where there is more build-up of polyethylene plastic.

The 8800 series plastic cases are large enough to hold any tools for field repair work with extra room for drills, spare parts boxes and accessories.

These plastic tool cases feature
vertical ribbing for added strength,
rugged aluminum frame,
2 Franzen latches
long-life positive action lid stays
molded-in feet
full piano hinge, and
high impact padded handle.

Note: All 8800 cases have 2 keyed draw bolt latches except for the 8802OQ, which has 2 quarter-turn butterfly latches and padlock rings that accept an optional padlock, such as our TSA safety lock, part number 61-6147 on our Accessories page. CLF in. =combination lock and two Franzen keyed latches. F=Franzen lock.

The accessory latch and handle replacement kit is part number 09-5197 (chrome).
