Axarel 2200 is an ozone-safe defluxer specifically designed for precision cold cleaning. Blended from aliphatic hydrocarbons, it offers engineers the chance to specify one chemical for many applications because Axarel 2200 is very versatile. It works well on both leaded and lead-free fluxes and pastes, water-soluble fluxes and even �no-clean� fluxes. Both organic and inorganic (ionic) deposits are easy targets for Axarel 2200. It easily dissolves any common contamination and can be used safely on stencils, PCBs, components, gaskets and elastomers, wiring
harnesses and plastic housings. It can double as a medium-strength degreaser which makes it a great choice for repair depots. Since it leaves no residues, rinsing is never required. Non-corrosive Axarel 2200 is suitable for all types of electronics including PCBs, hybrids and connectors. One of the most popular uses of Axarel is for cleaning stencils, misprints and SMT production equipment. It is a fine choice for use as a solvent inside an automated stencil printer, and will not harm the stencils, webbing, glues or the machinery. With a faintly sweet aroma, Axarel 2200 dries more slowly than IPA which minimizes consumption and saves money. As always with solvents, good ventilation is recommended.
