The MBT450 represents the next generation of all-in-one, miniature and microminiature, repair systems from PACE. The compact unit can tackle just about any thru-hole or surface mount application, wheter conformally coated or not, and is well suited for multilayer repairs on damaged circuit card assemblies.
DUAL TECHNOLOGIES INTEGRATED INTO ONE SYSTEM
The MBT450 is truly the best of both worlds, combining our renowned SensaTemp heating technology, which boasts superior performance and versatility, with our new advanced AccuDrive tip-heater cartridge capability for today's most challenging soldering, rework and repair applications.
Incorporating SensaTemp technology allows the MBT450 to remain compatible with many handpieces and tips currently used by the Navy's 2M/MTR Program.
With nearly 80% greater power from previous design, the standard system includes the TD-200 AccuDrive Soldering Iron which provides unsurpassed thermal performance on the heaviest boards at the most accurate temperatures.
The standard system also includes the new MT-200 AccuDrive MiniTweez precision thermal tweezer, which safely repairs a wide variety of surface mount components, even as small as 0201's and 01005's on the most tightly-packed assemblies.
The system also comes with SX-100 Sodr-X-Tractor PACE's flagship desoldering handpiece that has been used by the fleet for over 20 years.
