VeriClean is a patented electronics-grade defluxer, a degreaser and general precision cleaner. Versatile, almost odorless and very powerful, it can be used on all types of fluxes and pastes, organic residues, ionics, silicone-based conformal coatings, adhesives, grease and oils. It is ideal for cleaning thru-hole and SMT designs, getting under BGA chips, and rinsing residues from connectors. In side-by-side tests, VeriClean removed Alpha 5003 rosin flux in 1/3rd the time of other solvents. It dissolves even fully-cured silicone conformal coatings and swells silicone tubing.
VeriClean often is selected because it is a very good choice when skin contact is possible. It dries briskly, leaves no residues, is non-corrosive and ESD-safe. VeriClean is very safe on all common components and materials. Based on chemistries widely used in cosmetics, VeriClean has an superior safety profile. It degrades quickly in the atmosphere so it does not contribute to low-altitude smog and is rated as �VOC exempt� in most areas.
