Cleaning is fast and easy with ProClean because it is significantly stronger and more aggressive than ordinary alcohol cleaners. ProClean was formulated as a mild, plastic-safe, low-cost defluxer. A combination of three ultra-pure alcohols, it works very well on rosin fluxes, OA fluxes, synthetic fluxes and most �no-cleans.� While not the strongest cleaner, it easily issolves most leaded flux residues, solder pastes, organic residues and oils. Non-corrosive and ESD-safe, ProClean is highly suitable for all types of electronics, including through-hole and SMT boards, insulators, cables and connectors. Often used in repair shops, ProClean offers familiar handling, low cost, broad materials compatibility and versatile cleaning. It also is mil-spec approved for many military products and electronics. While many alcohol-based cleaners contain as much as 30% water, to lower costs, ProClean is made from the purest feedstocks and contains less than1% water, which makes it a stronger cleaner. It is 100% volatile, no rinsing is ever required. In terms of the environment, ProClean is about as good as it gets. Made from renewable resources, it is biodegradable, ozone-safe and has a very low global warming impact. It is a Volatile Organic Compound (VOC); check local regulations.
