Micro Care’s Reflow Oven Cleaner attacks flux residues with a mix of water, alkaloids and proprietary long-chain alcohols. Compared to common alcohol cleaners, which are weak, smelly, flammable and generally ill-suited to the task, Reflow Oven Cleaner slashes cleaning times 50% while improving results. Plus, Reflow Oven Cleaner avoids one of the big problems of using alcohol cleaners — the curing and hardening of flux residues in the oven — so cleaning with Reflow Oven Cleaner actually becomes easier over time. It’s simply a better tool, so it’s easy for techs do a better job. Another popular use for Reflow Oven Cleaner is to replace alcohol in finger cleaning systems in wave solder machines. The fingers will be cleaner, less solvent will be used and costs will be reduced. The cleaner also is used on pallets, either in hand wipe applications or ultrasonic tanks. This product cleans all flux residues, including lead-free products. It can be used on any wave solder machine, reflow oven, pallets, conveyors, baffles, heating elements, clamps, chains, pulleys, drive gears, housings, and degreasing pick-and-place systems. The cleaner dries quickly, leaves no residues and is noncorrosive. It is ozone-safe, low VOC content, low global warming and is generally nontoxic.
