These lightweight phenolic handles designed with heat-radiating fins provide a cool, comfortable, sure grip. Leads enter the electrodes from the side. Attachments for the 450W and the 1000W units are identical in design but different in size. The attachments for the 450W are smaller and are designed for medium-duty applications. The 1000W are larger and are designed for heavy-duty applications.
Pliers-Type Attachments: Designed for most soldering jobs where the work could be held in the jaws while being heated. The curved electrodes are standard and are designed for an accurate connection. Application examples include: Soldering Lugs, Sweating Copper Tubing and Fittings.
