IDEAL Thermo-Grip� 450 and 1000 Watt Soldering Equipment Designed for medium and heavy-duty industrial applications and brazing jobs, the Thermo-Grip� power units offer performance and convenience. These units offer a convenient carrying handle, electrode storage space, and three electrode types available for specific applications. Both units supply 115-volts and a 50-60 cycle, and are available as individual components or complete sets. Amperes: 450-Watt unit supplies 255 amps; 1000-Watt unit supplies 450 amps. Sweats and unsweats copper tubing up to 1/2" diameter (450-Watt) and 1 1/2" diameter (1000-Watt). Both units have two heat levels: 450-Watt: High (5.3V) and Low (4.2V); 1000-Watt: High (6.8-7.3V) and Low (5.4-5.6V) Both units offer: an On/Off primary-line toggle switch, a secondary handswitch for attachments, a pilot light to indicate that the power is on, a 9-ft., 3-conductor grounding power cord and plug, and a 10% duty cycle.
